this magnetic glass scraper works fantastically it comes in multiple sizes and they have one for acrylic. it floats if dropped in water. best glass scraper i have used. i dont even get my hands wet :Extreme smile - ani

I use to use the Mag-floats myself till I bought a Algae-Free Aquarium cleaning Magnet.
I've had mine now for over 5 years, I have the smaller model the "Piranha Float" the magnet is so strong it will scrape coralline off my glass.
