Tom and I made the trip out to Long Island this past weekend to view the tank that is being donated to the Berlin School.
Matt is working on approval from the school. Today I was able to make arrangements for the tank to be picked up, stored and then delivered to the school.
I started taking some rock and will start curing it...filled the new car up with it yesterday. Think we lost the 'new car' smell for sure.
The first photo is a 175 that replaced the donated 175. The owner wanted a taller stand and decided to get a new tank at the same time.
For the Berlin schools sake I like this owners thinking ;)
The second photo is of the actual tank.

Wow Linda!
Im sure the kids will love it! Great to see someone that cares as much as you do about other people and animals!
Its going in the Library I put in the work order yesterday to have electricity run to the location. Maintenance is also getting me two commercially ATO units because they are uncomfortable with my homemade ones.

Im very interested in this! Its where my child will go to school.....I think a good idea for this build would be to put a list of the items needed and see what we can get from where.

Just so everyone knows ... i prefer not to jam this thread up with sponsorships for the tank ... please pm the person running the project if you have any ideas on sponsors for him. Id really like to have this for the development and progress of the tank ... thank you.
Electricity is in !

The school has purchased me some of the equipment I want.
I have ordered an octopus dual recirculating 150 skimmer. 2 Vortech pumps with battery backup. A Current USA Nova Extreme Pro lighting fixture.

Wow that is really cool that the school can afford to pay for that. Our schools out here in Oregon can barely afford to buy books for the students.

I have benefited from supportive administrators. It also helps that so many people outside the school have been willing to donate their time and money to get this project rolling.
Anyhow here is are the latest pics.
