Welcome E.O. Smith School

Hopefully Fitch4/Jon will have some time soon to tell us what has been going on at the E.O. Smith School. He has been very busy with all that is going on over there.

I have been lucky enough to go visit the E.O. Smith school a few times.

The first time meeting Jon was almost 2 years ago. I helped carry in donations from All Glass/Kent Marine for his schools project. Somehow got to lug in 2 pails of salt..lol...I clearly remember how heavy the pails were and also how cool it was to sit and talk to one of Jon's students.

That is when I thought it would be great if I could one day help get my local school even one tank like Jon has at his school.

here are some photos from my last visit. CTARS held their meeting at the school, Micheal Paletta was the guest speaker, the students sold frags...It was a great time!

OMG, I want to go to their school!!
I can't wait until he posts and explains what is going on.
I can't believe he has a dedicated aquaria room...that is neat.

Very nice Linda. See if he's interested in coming over to the west coast, maybe he could help start one of those up out here, like maybe the school I work at :D
