I teach a special needs Biology class. They have a 10gal tank that is currently home to some live rock, 1 rock anemone, 1 conch, three snails, 2 hermit crabs, and some macro algae. They have been building this system since the beginning of the year. I promised them a fish after Christmas.

are you using typical stock lighting in that strip light?
Or a special modification to stock lighting.

As for the fish, I don't know, what ever is on sale at the LFS, probably. There was a bicolor pseudochromis for $10...anyone with suggestions?

Ah..the strip. It is an old incandescent strip that I put a pair of 65W CF grow bulbs in. I found them at wal mart. I put that on there the other day because the 55w pc strip gave up the ghost. I'll be replacing that tomorrow.

Matt,

I'm taking in a Red Lipped Blenny this week. Any room in any tanks at your place?

Hi Matt,

How did the livestock do? Is this the tank that you were putting it all in?

Also, remind me to give you a top that fits that tank.

Jay, Any chance you could drop the light off?

Linda,

Everyone moved in, But I divided them amongst the tanks in the classroom based on compatability

Well if you'd like to come in and see everything then sometime around 2:30-3:00 is best. What time are you home from work?

If you just want to drop it off you can leave it in the office at a time more convenient for you.
