Hello, just wanted some advice, I have around $220.00 (not much) and I would like to start a small propagation tank. 55gl. the tank would cost me 60$$ and I'm thinking about getting a sump. cost of a 20gl long 22$$. I have salt. skimmer's. enough filters for the cycling process. and a heater. I have been in the hobby for more than 5 years. never done this before. The biggest cost is going to be lights.. How can I get a nice setup with only 100$$ ish for lights. should i just get a set of shop lights, and put them over it. I only plane to frag mushrooms intill I get more $$ for better lights.

You could look for a used system for sale... or save up before you start it so you can get the light you want.... You really don't need a prop tank for shrooms they will grow anywhere and in any tank....

UPDATE.. I purchased a 40gl tank because it isn't as tall, and it is allot wider. I also purchased a 20gl Long tank for my sump. not going to set it up yet, in till i have a day off from work... was thinking of getting some shop lights, you no the ones that hang from the chains, two bulbs 40w each, I could hang two sets, thats 160w. should be enough to grow nice mushrooms, and polyps. And just to let you guys no mushrooms are growing everywhere in my tank thats why I want a frag tank.
