Funny I didn't see them listed here but I wanted to say that they have excellent service and wonderful clams. The owner Barry is excellent! If you have questions or concerns he responds in lightning time. They even call you to make sure the shipment arrived ok, that everything is satisfactory, and remind you that they are there for you if you need help :) Two thumbs up and 5 stars from me! I have lots of their clams!

I've always wanted to order from them, but everything goes really fast, lol. Sometime I will.

ClamsDirect are a great resource and produce some highly sought after clams.
Unfortunately, a very large percentage of all the clams don't even make it to the good old US of A. Most of them end up in Japan and Asia. We get what's left over from the cherry-picking.
But I digress.
There are but a few good online vendors who have the product AND back it up with knowledgable staff and outstanding cutomer service.
Clams Direct is one of those few, IMO.

Tony soon as I manage to find my camera charger I'll get some up :) Stuff there does go fast but if you sign up with them you'll get the notices of when they are spending the day updating and when they will reopen with all the new clams :) You do have to be a little quick :) Alot of the clams there are farm raised although they do get some wild and do QT them for a minimum of 7 days I think it is...Clams Direct get's some great stuff though I do agree on the whole Japan and Asia issue though but you could seek out a foreign vendor but it's going to cost you...and survival well it could be a real chance...personally I'm sticking with C.D.!

I love clams, I had mine for about 2 years, then one day out of the blue, it shriveled up detached from it's shell and perished. All within about 3 days. I will get another one eventually.

Humm sounds like the PH or ALK swung and you didn't realize it? I had that happen once to me as well, don't feel to bad it happens to the best of us. The worst of it sometimes is the lost $$$. Sorry for your loss anyway though! The sucess of having them though is worth trying again trust me :)

Oh I agree, Mine died on me actually about a year ago. I will pick another one up eventually. For now the tank is just sitting there silent. Well as silent as a SW tank can be :)
