Before I continue, let me say that my tank is now covered!
I had visitors over about 2 weeks ago and there were some small kids also, anyways I'm showing the tank to everyone and the kids are all amazed over the fish and of course Nemo! So I'm looking around in the tank and I can't find my goby anywhere so I discretely look around the floor and there he is all dried up and shrivelled. I didn't want to alarm the kids so I decided to pick him up after everyone left.....
2 hours later everyone leaves I walk to the bathroom to get a tissue to pick up my poor fish and as I'm peeling him off the floor I feel a tiny wiggle!!!
I hurried up and put him in my QT and he sinks to the bottom. I looked at him closely and notice he's breathing ever so slightly. I added some stress guard to the tank, turned out the lights and left him alone until the next day. Next morning I go to the qt and he's moving around slightly, in quick jerky movements, no bending at all just straight! A few days later he was able to turn, bend and rise up and inch or 2... Now he's completely recovered and looks as good as ever!
What was he thinking on the floor for 2++ hours?
Maybe it went something like this ""I meant to do that!... OK, This was a bad idea! A little help here, I'm sticking to the floor! Hulloooooo!" !!!"
