Saw this protein skimmer on ebay for really cheap wanna know what it is, and if it works good. Also does it use air stones?

You will need a pump with that skimmer...It works like a sea clone....not the best by any stretch... I would save and get a better hang on back like a Aqua C or a bak pak.....

It looks like the Jebo knock off of the Seaclone 100. If thats the case I would rather have a seaclone as they work better than the Jebo knockoff, seriously!

The seaclones are okay skimmers if your on a tight budget, although I havent tried the new and inproved model. One thing is for sure the Aquarium Systems over rates thier skimmers so if you just must go budget use this one on a 55 gallon or smaller tank, get the Seaclone 150 for a tank up to about 90 gallons max tank size. Like I said it will do an okay job but there are better skimmers out there to be had.
