Since my tank right now is only a nano cube-i was thinking about doing a mini fuge to grow some food(for what idk-still cycleing).Petsmart has little 2-3 gal. glass tanks.I was thinking of Sticking one of them on my desk with a little HOT filter a pound or to of sand and some LR with a heater.Thought about throwing some chaeto or caulepura in there to.Any input is appreciated.

I really think the system would be great if it was hooked up someway with the cube. I mean the true benefits of the fuge are how it deals with nutrient exports and such and catching pods could be pretty hard if there is no way for them to just free flow down a tube into the cube.

My thought is you could set a little powerhead in the cube and place that into the fuge and then connect a tube from the fuge to the cube and that just uses gravity. Have you had anymore thoughts on this?

I would agree with Zack on this....the nutrient export is the big thing with a fuge.....

Sorry-I didnt think anyone replied to this.Well since I ditched the cube and started over with a 10 gal I was thinking of just doing an H.O.T. fuge.Like the one SM showed on the DIY page.Saves space and is pretty practical.Any thoughts?
