Use a dab of GEL Super glue. I have also had success with the toothpick method and rubberbands. It would help us to know what kind of soft coral your trying to attatch.

Yeah what kind of soft coral?

Leathers you need to try a tootpick or rubber band cause super glue will not work.

Mushrooms are all different and soem say super glue works others jsut use fail and rubber bands.

Xenia I use the vail and rubber band and a week later it is attached and I tank the vail and rubber bands away.

Lightly rubber band it to the rock of your choice, wait several days and cut the rubber band with a razor and remove the rubber band much the same way as you would a suture.

Let it find a low current flow area settle to the bottom and attach to some course substrate then super glue gel the substrate covered stalks to the rock of your choice.

Both these techniques have been used many a time in my tanks...

I usually place my frags into a bowl with some rubble in it, then cover the top of the bowl with some netting so the frag can't fly out. After a bit of time the frag is attached to the rubble, and the rubble can be glued or placed on some liverock. Works great for mushrooms, zoa's, xenia, and even some leather frags I have done.

It all depends on the type of frag. The suggestions that have been given here are good ones. If you have any other questions, please let us know.

For the more harder soft corals (colt coral for example)

You can use a needle and thread or fishing line, sow the fresh cut frag to a piece of rubble rock, really lessens the chance of it gettin away :)
