Leather corals you can cut a piece off the outter edge and glue or rubberband it to a piece of rubble rock.

First off, when fragging, make sure you put on some latex gloves. It's a good idea to wear gloves while working with any coral for that matter.

For the leather, you can cut around the rim of the coral and than make little pie shaped pieces. Sometimes, a piece may heal faster when you include a piece of the base with the actual frag, but it is not always necessary.

For the shroom, just cut it in quarters (pie shape again) and try to include the mouth on each piece.

With most frags I put a dab of super glue on the rock before attaching the frag. But most of the times, leathers and shrooms slime too much to even consider this. Use some bridal vail material and wrap the coral and rubber band it in place. Some corals can set in a few days to a few weeks, depending on the frag. After they set to the rock, take off the vail and viola, Instant Frag!

Or you could also use a toothpick and "stake" it to a piece of rock. This may work better in some cases. Don't be afraid to try various ways and see what works best for you. HTH
