Hi everybody.
This is my first time I have joined a forum regarding this hobbie. I have decided to start a new reef tank and I will describe what I have. I let the other on go after my wife past away. If any of you could make any suggestions on what I could add or do differently.I would appreciate it.
My tank is 80 gallons, Lighting consist two 175 watt 14k metal halides and two 96 watt compacts, I also have a moon light. I am using the Berlin method of filtration with a large protien skimmer. I have hooked up a Coralife calcium reactor and a phosphate reactor. I also have a UV filter that I have not hooked up yet. My pump is internal to the sump and is rated at 900gph. I also have a chiller installed.
I want to grow stony and soft corals
Any suggestions?
Thank you

Welcome to CF...and sweet set up...we will need to see some pictures....

To your question... I want to grow stony and soft corals...in your system with the lighting you have you should be able to grow both...just keep your water parameters in line and when your tank has cycled have at it!!!!

Thanks here are a couple of pictures. I used some of the live rock from my old set up so the cycle was not as long.
