Ok, so once upon a time I ordered a shipment of blue leg hermits, scarlet reef hermits, sally lightfoot crabs, and some pepermint shrimp. Along with this order they sent something I did not recognize and I defiantely did not pay for, it is what they (www.reeftopia.com) calls an eyelash blenny. This was one of the coolest fish I ever had at the time by far! Compared to damsels that were left in there from cycling, thats not really saying all that much... but oh well.

Months went by, and I loved watching the blenny, it was by far the fish with the MOST personality. One day I didn't see it and I didn't think anything about it. Weeks went by and there were no signs of my blenny. Because I have never found any evidence of his death, I have declared him MIA.

So more months pass, and Hannah now has her salt water tank set up too. So I decide to make another order from reeftopia.com and this time Hannah and I both decide to purchase an eyelash blenny. Along with the shipment I ordered more hermit crabs and also a coupple fighting conches.

Well my blenny is all grown up not and insists he is the boss in my tank, which other than him is a very peaceful tank! However in the last day I have walked by my aquarium to find one of the two fighting conches on its back. I knew my blenny was responsible, because for some reason he really hates fighting conches. Whenever he sees them he tries to burry them as much as possible. I think he is trying to dig their grave.

But he has flipped the fighting conch over twice now, in less than 24 hours. I think hes is telling me that I need to feed him some more nori. I have been feeding cyclops-eeze for the most part lately, and he hates that, because the portions are so small...

I am thinking about starting an agressive tank, if I do, I know where the blenny is going! Or does anybody want a really nice and peaceful blenny? I have one

The one that was Missing in Action, I have no idea, I am sure the snails and hermits took good care of him.

LOL, interestingly enough I offered it, however she wont take it because mine will easily bully hers.

I feed mine too much! We bought them at the same time, and mine is probably 4x bigger than hers.

I should mention... I bought some more corals today :) and knowing the track record with my blenny and new items I decided to put some food in a glass jar then placing it in the tank (this keeps him occupied for hours! I think he is stupid... he hits the glass with his head, then backs off and tries again a second later) I figured then he will leave the new corals alone, after all I dont want him upsetting anything. I also didn't have time to shoo him away since I had to go to work and class.

So anyway, I put my coat on and my backpack and I am about to leave when I notice he got in the jar and was chomping away... I stood there for a moment contemplating if missing 10 minutes of class was worth catching him...

(Pause for the suspense - Cue suspenseful music)

I threw my backpack to the ground (and luckily for some reason I decided not to bring my laptop with me... phew!) and then my coat... I roll up my sleves and I throw my arm into the salty depths of my ocean I grab the jar, and he panics and starts swimming back and fourth. I pull the jar out of the water. "Now what" I think to myself, I have a jar with a live fish on my desk, and if he tried he could escape (although he's not much of a jumper).

Well he is living (I was going to say happily... but IDK about that) in my sump now, until Chris starts up his tank.

I actually ended up skipping it   I got around to campus and I couldn't find a parking spot... so instead I ended up just going to work. :)

The teacher has all his notes online, so I can get an idea of what we went over, and I have my discussion tomorrow at 10... so I am not too worried about it.

LOL its funny that you say that actually, since there is a piece of 1" PVC in the sump, and one end is right up against the glass, and he just hangs out there watching me.

I will try to get a picture soon, but it'll be a bad one, my sump needs a cleaning.
