I have been in the saltwater hobby for about 7 years now. I recently got stationed in Japan, so I had to start from scratch. After 7 years with the same 25 gallon tank, it was time to upgrade! I purchased a 47 gallon tank here in Japan. my tank includes
192 watt orbit power compacts
60lbs fiji pink live sand
25lbs live rock
1 turbo snail
I am in no hurry, hence the one snail! I was reading some of the post, live rock is very expensive here in Japan, its about $8.50 a lbs if not more! The fish here are rather cheap though for example
$6 lemon peel
$12 Coral beaty
$25 powder blue tank
So I geuss in the long run its about the same, thanks everyone for reading my post!

hello everyone like I said earlier I finally got a bigger tank, but I still have not set it up, I am waiting on some stuff that I ordered online. I went ahead and bought some live rock here in Japan. their was an anemone attached to one of the pieces. I thought it was pretty cool looking but then I got to thinking, that cool anemone might be one of those AIPTASIA ANEMONE. I took a photo with my cell phone. I would like to email somebody the photo to see if I actually have one of these anemone's. So emails are welcome thanks..Joseph
