Hello Everybody,
I have a 65 gallon marine aquairum (not yet started), a 20 gallon QT and breeding habitat (rearing tank) and a 5 gallon tank that used to be a freshwater tank that i would like to change into an all coral growing tank. No fish. Im wondering, the tank has a hood with 1 or 2 strip lights built into it. Im guessing i have about 2.5-3.5 watts per gallon. Is this good for growing corals? Will it be o.k since its only a 5 gallon tank? Im thinking about keeping mushrooms, polyps, brain corals and some other soft corals...nothing that needs intense lighting....please give e some suggestions or advice....thanks~
