There is a link to get you started. Some things are "fraggable," while some are not. Anemones cannot be fragged per se, but given sufficient light and lots of meaty food, they will clone themselves.
Corals are animals, BTW. This means they are alive or dead like other animals. :)

Depends on the coral your fragging, with Mushrooms, you can cut the heads off and pie cut them, put a loose piece of lace over them till they attach to the rock or put them in a low flow area and let them attach by there selfs, with most sps you just cut off a branch and glue it on to a plug or a piece of rock. some soft corals like leathers, the same cut off a branch.and you can tooth pick to a rock or put it in a low flow area and Just stick your cut off branch in a creaves it will foot itself. toadstools frag like Mushrooms.
I could go on but it's best to know what you wanting to frag.
as for Anemones. you really don't frag them, most will clone them selfs. and theres different ways to get them to do that.

Before you cut make sure you ask questions or read up on them.

most corals are pretty easy to frag ... just slice and mount for the most part ... anemones on the other hand are best left alone unless you really know what you are doing.

yes, Ed is correct. One or both halves of the anemone can die if someone doesn't know the entire process. That would not be a good thing.
Anthony Calfo's newest book is out on Coral Propragation is VERY COOL is VERY HELPFUL.
