They call it fishing. :roll: They roll the nets and wish to capture fish that way for human consumption.

ahhh, so this way no fish can escape, so they get more... but do way more damage... thats horrible. In many ways, I am glad that I am preserving something that may not be around much longer, by the way that we (as a society) are treating it.

Very sad and very true. Now is the time when I am starting to really contemplate where it is that I will be going in life, and if I start a family if I want kids... especially to be brought into this world. I mean literally, we created so much damage to the earth in less than 200 years, I bet it would outweigh all of the other damage ever done in the world, prior to that.

I like the fact that hybrid cars are becoming more popular, but I dont like the fact that SUVs are too, sorry to anyone that owns one, I, in no mean am here to offend anyone.

Its unfair to science, thats society's female dog... I mean technology advances in some way that is bigger, better and faster, but pollutes more. Then we rely on science to find a new slightly bigger, slightly better, slightly faster than the original, but pollutes less. Hydrogen powered cars are not to far away, if you dont believe me check this site out.

I guess its something that is constantly on my mind. Thanks for letting me vent. But, however, let me reitterate, I don't mean to offend anyone, I think we all have place we can start trimming off excess consumption, and thats a good place to start. Also... time for america to start walking more.... we are becoming a very obese country.

That is cool...I have seen several very interesting articles on that subject.... We do need a radical change of mind in our society on these issues!!!!
