I am currently having some bad algea outbreaks in my lone Toby tank.
It is 30g...been set up for over a year.
Specs are normal with the only one showing is nitrates of around 30ppm, I also use R/O water.
I'll just show you all a picture and hopefully we can go from there.
What I would like to do is either go bare bottom after scraping off all the algea and doing a fairly large WC, or transfer my toby to my 75g...but as I wrote a long time ago in another post nothing will stay alive in this tank but Toby who I have had since the beginning. I have had 2 royal grammas and several Damsels to "test" the water..they all die within a few days...so I am unsure of transferring him if he may be host to something.
