Hey guys.I think i have had the ICH...My perc had little tiny parasite looking things on him so i Qt'ed him and my chromis. After a freashwater dip it took a week or so but they parasites are gone...or so it seems.I have some ich medicine, even though it looks like hes bettter should i still add it?Also i took all my inverts and corals out,but there is stillLR rubble in the bottom of the QT tank.Do i need to take it out?
One more thing Has anyone ever seen the red bubble algea? My LFS is haveing a problem with it in one of there tanks.Any idea on how to kill it?

Tank should be bare, anything that's in the tank including the seams will absorb copper med.

I agree with george.any thing that's been medicated should stay in the QT it's best to leave it bare with maybe some Plastic plants for your fish to hide in. and maybe a plastic cave or something like that.
as for the red bubble algae from what you discribe that's just bubble algae in it's advanced stage. when it turns that color it's full of spores.
Lower Nitrate levels will starve the bubble algae. and removing the rock it's on and scraping them off will help control them too. Just try not to pop them and rinse the rock good before adding it back to the tank.
Good luck hope this helps.
