hello i have a 125gal tank and wanted to put a lion fish in the tank. heard that the lion fish are aggressive i hava 1 fox face, angel fish?, blue hipp, and a pair of clown fish size ranging from 1inch to 2inch on clowns the other ones excede 3inch. My question is can i put a lion fish !!!!

Good reply I have to "Bump" on that one. If it fits the mouth its on the menu sooner or later...Other wise its a great addition.

Would have to agree with the top posts.But the others should be fine with a lion.Would be a cool agressive tank.

hate to take this a little off topic, well, not really, but would a flame hawkfish do fine with a dwarf lionfish?

Lions don't really tend to be agressive or territorial much at all, most of they time they just float lazily around the tank, minding their own business. But they are predators...and if it will fit in their mouth, they will eventually eat it. As long as the hawkfish is big enough, you shouldn't have problems...

When I was working at my LFS I saw a large lionfish trying to eat a 1 inch blue tang.
It really is true, they will eat whatever they can fit in their mouths...
