I really want to git serious about filtration and looking ahead,i dont think my HOT magnum is going to cut it for an extended period of time.I was looking to upgrade to wet/dry filtration and found one i really like. The AquaClear Pro series wet/dry filter with pre filter.Does any one have one of these or ever used one.It has not been out long but i think it looks like a great buy for 229.99.It has a bulit in skimmer too.Runs at 300 GPH.I was looking at a pump for the return line and found the ViaAqua water pump1300.I know its a little bit more gph but i figured i would git a ball valve to fix that to the correct flow.Is this a good product?

I used an Aquaclear Pro for a couple of months when I first started into saltwater. As far as wet/dries go, it's probably fine. I didn't like it at all, though. The skimmer was poor, and the foam pads and blocks got dirty quickly. I didn't think the maintenance was worth the performance, but I had enough live rock to make the bioballs superfluous at best. If you're dead set on getting this type of filtration, this one is as good as any.

I've heard good things about Oceanic sumps. I don't know if they have built in skimmers though.

Oceanic dont have built in skimmers, but they arelarge and very open, and it would be very easy to sit one in there.
