I have collected some more of the crown conchs snails I collected for my reef tank a few months back both for myself and for sale. I wanted to check to find out if anyone is interested in purchasing some? There are very large ones and like close to 1/2 golf ball size and then of course there are much smaller penny and smaller size. They are pretty colorful purple to brown and yellow and such color stripes seen in the shell with many folds to make a somewhat crown look on the back and some on the front also. I will attach a few pictures of them soon as I get some decent ones (within the next week). I have a couple of pics I will attach for the time being and you will see that seahorses too like to catch a ride on them LOL. **WARNING** these should not to be kept with biavalves ie clams! Florida conchs are carnivorous. If insufficient food is left behind they can eat them. They are otherwise reef safe and will not harm any corals etc. These are however a "work-horse" snail they will clean your sandbed, sides of the aquarium, and rock. They are also known to cross-breed any other snails in the tank. I am going to price them at a you pick it size for $3/snail. let me know

FWIW, these guys will eat other snails in your tank also. They eat bivalves and gastropods. I don't want to dissuade anyone from buying them from CD, but it's just a word of warning.

fish in the dark they possibly can eat snails smaller than themselves but have not eaten any of mine as a fyi. Mine I have collected seem to not be real carnivorous toward other things they like sinking pelets I use Spectra A+ and they rise out of the sand to collect what they can and they check out the bottom for other uneaten food but do not seem into frozen much but like to clean the glass. I did however state in the prior that they should not be kept with biavalves ie clams if you look above and that they are the only carnivorous of the conchs....
