I have had a Midas Blenny for about a month. It's a really gorgeous fish. I can only attest to its beauty from memory though. The poor thing is picked on by my clowns. The first thing it did was leap from the tank, nearly landing on my two-year-old daughter. Luckily, after we figured out that it was a fish that seemed to fall from the ceiling, I was able to get him back in the tank unharmed. Next, I retrieved him from one of my overflows. Later, he was missing and assumed dead when I found him in the sump. After not seeing him for three weeks, and thinking that one of the cats must have been happy to find him on the floor, I just glimpsed him in the overflow again! I guess I'll leave him there this time, because the poor thing seems like he'll do anything not to be in the display. I'm glad I know where he is so I can get food to him.
Crazy fish!
