Toadstool frag....

A friend of mine just gave me a toadstool frag, and I was wondering how long they take to look normal. Right now it just looks like a chunk of leather on a rock.

I have that same thing with a frag....It takes some time....but once they get to acclimated and growing they do grow rapidly!!!!

Agree with the Doc, typically they may also slough after changing tanks (they shed a mucous coating) so if you see this don't panic. Good water flow will help remove it easily, but if it seems to be hanging around you can help it with a turkey baster.
