need help

Dose anyone have this ball thing in there setup. It is suppose to go up and down pumps to the sump the best I can tell. My problem is for some reason it is stopping and I have to push it to get it started again and I can not do that all day. Please help

Any chance you can get a better pic? I'm not quite sure what you're describing.

will try and get better pictures tomarrow it is low, but this is the overflow in the main tank, there are2 pipes on is the ball thing that pumpes water to the sump, and the other is the return.

If the ball is not going up, you may not be getting a lot of flow over your overflow.

Is the level in the sump staying the same?

yes there is no change in the sump or the overflow, or the return flow. I think that is is a silencer of some sort

ok this is the best I can get, the dumb thing is not doing anything now, but everything is fine in the tank. any help would be great

anything anyone!!!! it has stopped and the sound is a little louder like a waterfall makes you need to run potty more(ha!ha!) do need advice
