Hi,
I was just a little worried because my clowns are still fighting. It has been a month and a half since i got my 2nd false perc. They are almost the same size, but the second is about a half an inch bigger. My 1st one has been in the tank for 8 months and about 1 month alone. My 1st one bullies around the other one alot, and takes over my hammer coral. I have a 15g tall tank. Is this normal, and will they stop?
Thanks

Matt clown fish will chase each other constantly....and fight constantly...this is normal...the bigger clown is the female and the small one will stay small and become a male....hopefully you don't have anymore fish in that tank. 2 clown fish in the 15g would be my max. JHMO

You are mostly right TranZ, it depends on the species. True Percula clowns generally get along great when paired verses tomato or maroon clowns which, by nature, are more agressive.

Depending on what kind of clowns you have...as TranZ stated...it would be a normal habbit. Especially until the larger becomes a sexually mature female and the other a sexually mature male.

Hope that helps.

If maroon clowns don't come in a pair, they will most likely never get along. I have two maroon clowns, but they were caught together, so they're just fine. That's really the only way to do it, if you want to be sure they won't become aggressive towards eachother.
