IMO some one of the most beautiful fish in the trade :) my 110g tank will be finished in a week or 2... after planning since december of last year :evil: liveaquaria took about 5-6 months to send in my wet/dry filter 8) ok, so I'm wondering, will the angel do fine in a 110g with just him, flame angel(s) and yellow tang(s)? I'm also thinking of putting some zoo's in there and MAYBE other soft corals

P.S. it'll have 50% water changes a day XD gotta love the location of the tank (my dad's office), he works at a marine institute so free water system :) my tank is perfec with UV's, wet/dry, 2 250w MH's and 2 110w CF, I couldn't ask for a better tank, too bad corals are illegal in hawaii... oh well, my dad has a permit for softies :)

I wouldn't keep an Imperator in a 110... I would want to have a 150 or bigger...6ft - 8ft tank would be best...I know that the books say you can keep them in a 135...but I personally would want a bigger tank than that...Sounds like it is going to be a nice system.... :)

The angle may do fine....but an adult will be cramped in a 110...
I know what liveaquaria says I don't agree with their tank size on that fish...nor does Scott Michael in his book marine fishes....nor does a lot of people that have posted on that fish…
On the flip side I too have read post were some have kept them in even smaller tanks with some success???? And I have keep fish in tanks that were to small for them also...
They certainly are a beautiful fish...and would be a hard one to pass up..... cheers!!! :)

heh, I was mainly asking about the angel being ok with zoo's and other semi-toxic softies :P also about if the angel would do well with a flame angel and a yellow tang :)
