Hi All,

I just bumped into this forum (through a search engine) and lurked on the sidelines for a couple of days. After finding it so great and helpful, I've decided it's time to register and be a member.

This forum is so informative and from my initial experience of reading some of the post, it's full of great helpful members.

I've just started a salt water reef tank (my first one ever!) and am having so much fun learning both the ups and downs of maintaining one that this forum is a much needed site for me.

I've attached some pictures of my tank and what's in it and I hope to meet some of you and post here from time to time.

Can you give us some specs of your tank? Size, Filtration, Lighting, Corals, Fish ect...

The specs,,, hmmm... I kinda left it out intentionally cause I didn't want to embarass myself :)

Ok, just please don't laugh and you can't make fun of it either ;)

The Set-Up:

45 Gal. TruVu Bubble Tank
TetraTec PF300 w/ internal heater (hey, it works!)
2 Corallife 65w

The Residents:

StarPolyp, Branching Coral, BubbleTip (although I think it's a long tentacle), 2 hairy mushrooms, and an unknown polyp (I think its a polyp). 1 sixline wrasse and 2x damsels. I also have a bunch of cleaners & shrimps.

That's pretty much it....

Welcome to CF Eddie! I've seen that tank at the LFS, cool looking tank - there's was a fresh tank though. Nice to see someone trying it out with salt.

How long have you had the anemone in there? The 2x65W of lighting is on the low side unfortunately.

Sugar Magnolia, as far as how long the anemone has been there I would say between 7-8 mos maybe?
