Found it while combining tanks?

Well here is a really strange thing I found in my 5gal hex. I dont know what it was and am hoping that someone does for future reference. It is nothing that I added that is for sure! I hope the pic is good enough taken of course with my camera phone LOL. and btw it isnt a horseshoe crab! See the pic of top and bottom of the shell. I hope this isnt a shed and that thing is still hanging out in the sand???!!! Ahhhh LOL!

Hard to tell. Shell looks kinda neat actually. I hope that it can be identified.

Could you focus a little better? Maybe step back a little even if it will look smaller? It definetely looks like a molt. :thinkhard:

it looks awefully think and hard to be a molt...I agree that it does not look like a horseshoe crab. Looks like a skull of something lol.

I will try to take a better picture by tomorrow...I have to agree that it is a bit neat but dosent really look like whatever it was would be friendly? I still have to get the sand out of that tank so I hope I dont find whatever it is in some ways ie hoping it isnt a molt. Brock -- LOL I thought that too but never had anything die in there except a clarkii and unless he was e=mc2 related I am leaning away from that...LOL also the sand was not live sand and was that colored like hermit sand stuff so it definatly did not come with the sand LOL. I will try to get better pics and have them up by tomorrow. thanks as always guys!
