Hi ,

Just wanting to mixed the diet up for these fish. I'm currently feeding Mysis shrimp and mixed green from the LFS also feeding baby spinach and Nori . Pull out a tiger prawn from the freezer this morning ( the type we humans eat ) is it OK to feed the prawn meat as part of the diet ?

Yes. The prawn is just fine. Also, make sure the tang gets most of its nutrition from veggies. It will eat anything, but needs mostly vegetable matter to keep it healthy.

With my freshwater fish, I sometimes feed them romaine lettuce or frozen peas....

would it be alright for my sw fish eat these as well???

I just bought a yellow tang and want to make sure he/she gets enough veggies...

Romaine or frozen peas will be okay. You can also get nori seaweed from your seafood section or Asian market. The key is to offer a variety.
