Faulty ballast, damaged bulb...

So you think I should try switching the bulbs to see if it's the bulb or the ballast.
If it's the ballast it has a 5 year warranty for replacement so...
If it's the bulb, I'll get a new one from my LFS and ask for them to replace it free of charge (It's brand new, I didn't do naything to break it etc. etc.)

no, not anymore, i fixed hte problem. one bulb wasnt screwed in all the way...
but i still have this problem....
If none of the other issues point out a problem with the ballast or bulb then you might want to look at how many hours are on the bulbs? Often times a bulb will need about a 100 hours of burn time to "burn in" and give its true color.

Yeah Imaexpat, I think that's what is going on. The pink glow is coming less frenquent so I'm thinking it is just burning in the real color or something, it looks good other than that....
