hot glue or super glue on overflow box??

hey guys, i have an overflow box and the portion of the box thats inside the tank, has unglued where two sides come together. Only about half of the side came apart, but i want to glue it back together. can i use hot glue to do this? or super glue? anything else? silicone?

Silicone will work...

Silicone would be your best bet. Just make sure it's rated for aquarium use.

Also I would let it set up good before putting it in service again.... :)

Use super glue or apoxy. Silicone will work but wont be as strong and will probably become sloppy.

Stay away from hot glue.
