hey guys. I drilled my 10 gallon tank for a bulkhead at my grandfather's shop, and the solution they use to keep their diamond bits cool has a diluted amount of anti freeze in it. this solution got in my 10 gallon while drilling, but i rinsed it out when i was done.

I took the tank home and hosed it out throughly with water, and then got a sponge and some bleach and went at it again. i wiped everything done and dried it off, and there is no sign of any contaminents that i can SEE, but im still wondering what i should do if anything else can be done.

This 10 gallon will be a refugium, hooked to my 30 gal sump, hooked to my 150 gallon tank

thanks

You should be ok....you have rinsed it and wiped it down??? Use hot water to rinse it with and paper towels to wipe it down...Do that a couple times making sure you wipe down the silicone seals well...and you should be fine....Hot water helps displace that kind of residue better than cool water….
