Amphipods

How do I get more pods? I had some with some chaeto but I've started seeing less and less plus I've seen some dead ones floating around.
Can these be bought or anything?

The dead ones you see floating around are likely molts. Amphipods are nocturnal, so your best chance to see what your population looks like is to check the tank a couple of hours after lights out.

ah, I see. what if my cheato is under lighting 24/7? Isn't that where most pods are?

Your LR...is loaded with pods and they will reproduce....and yes you can buy pods....But get a light and magnifying glass and look at the pods all over your LR at night...

Try feeding different foods, including phytoplankton.

Feeding DTs will help... the baby pods will have food to grow and multiply.
