well I got a golden wrasse (coris) yesterday to add to my propagation tank to have some movement in there....
but tonite after my MH went out and just my Actinics were on I looked every where and I couldn't fined him.
I did notice my sand in my fragging tray is all stired up. so I'm hoping it buired itself in the sand for the night.
tomorrow the egg create goes on. the top of the tank.....lol.

I bet he buried himself. They'll do that when startled or when they're ready to sleep. The LFS has one of those in and I've been watching it for a couple of weeks now. I'll probably pick it up today if it's still there and I can see it eat some flake or pellets.

yeah: thats what he did. I kind of thought that's what he did but I didn't think it could because the sand bed in my frag box is only about a 1/2" deep. "Crazy" I think I might add a little more in my frag box so he has a little more depth.and set up another frag box with just rubble rock in it for my frags.
crazy fish, it's like I got a cat not a fish...LOL. first fish I got to were I had to have a sand box for it.

Well, the wrasse was still at the LFS when I stopped in today, so it must have been meant for me. I asked them to feed him and he quickly gobbled up the pellets that they offered it. He's acclimating now. :D

LOL Jim. I've been stopping in and checking on this guys health for about 4 weeks now trying to decide whether I should buy him. Beautiful fish!
Great score SM....You have to post a picture!!!
I would, but I had turned the MH off to reduce stress, and once he hit the open water, he cruised to the bottom and promptly dove into the sand bed.

LOL....Yeah so far I really like mine. hope yours adds a nice addition to the rest of your tank. I really didn't want to add mine to my 37 gal because there love for bristle worms. but I like that I had some flatworms on one piece of my zoo colonies and it has been picking at them.

I spoke too soon, not long after he was out and about, I wandered over to the tank to watch him and I must have spooked it because it dove back into the sand. Pretty cool to watch! I'll see if I can get a shot of him tomorrow.

I was thinking of adding one to my tank but I am worried it would eat the clowns. What do you have in with yours and do you have some thoughts on it being with clowns?

I don't think it will bother the clowns....
