No. It almost looks like it has a skeletal structure. If so, then it is some sort of LPS coral. Where did the LR come from?

How's the cycle going?
This is cycld #2...I finished my first one and then put the LR in...A new cycle just started yesterday

Ok, this cycle should be a small one since the new LR from Liverocks.com comes packed in water and sent via overnight.
Sure hope so. I allowed the water to swing to a low temperature (72F) while I was putting in the rock. I am keeping a C L O S E eye on everything.
If it's not aptasia, then could someone give me a name of what it might be?

It's a tubinaria sp. (sun coral cousin) :-D

I noticed when going through all of your pics that you have a bunch of those skeletons on your rock. Some of them should sprout some polyps too. Phyllangia Americana - hidden cup corals. And as George mentioned, a close relative to sun corals.
Sounds great! I hope I don't lose too much.
