I have a pair of clowns, and I noticed this morning that one appears to have some sort of infection, and, for once, its not ich!
Every other fish appears to be okay, at the time; I have the one clown isolated in a containment cup until I can get my QT set up.
The fish's fins appear to be mangeled, and there is alot of pinkish and white haze over its entire body in patches.
Im guessing its a bacterial in nature- heres a picture if it may help.

How long have you had the pair of clowns?
It's hard to say what it might be, could be brooklynellosis, or marine velvet. If it's brook, copper won't do a thing for it, formalin is what you'll need to treat that. Velvet can be treated with copper or hyposalinity.

Keep in mind that you need to treat ASAP if it is brook, it's a quick killer.

Currently, the fish is not respirating very rapidly, however, it is very lathargic. The fins are VERY tattered, but this may be from attack by the female clown within the past few days as the fish began to become sick. Looking at the skin of the fish, it appears like a pink rash, allmost.

Here are a couple of more articles for you. Have you started treating with anything yet? How is the fish eating?
