albert - I can't tell for sure, but the first pic appears to be limpets.
Hmm....I'll have to look on the second pic, as I want to double check myself

I'll second the limpets. Not sure about the second. It doesn't appear to match the nass obsoleta or vibex, but it does appear to be a whelk species.

I would third the limpets....and that second does appear to be a strombus...check this article out toward the bottom of the article...

I don't think it is a strombus....Strombus sp. have very large eyes on the stalks with the short tentacles off the stalk. If you look at the article Ron linked above, you will see the Columbellid sp. snail at the bottom....often sold as the strombus maculatus. I think this might be close to the snail that you have.

1st photo...definatley limpets....can you get a photo of the top of them? (the shell)
The second could be a conch of some sort, but the color pattern and general shell shape looks suspciously like the kind you might see on a cone snail...where is your LR from?

It's not a Strombus, as you already noted, but it's a Columbellid. Some places sell them as "strombus grazers", but they're burning in hell anyways.
