Same catagory hijacked thread.
2 13Watt PC bulbs over a flow thru sump refer good enough?..
125 tank refer area prolly 12x12inch area.. this question is just to give me piece of mind.. I received some cheto just put in it couple weeks ago and it hasnt realy had that explosion like I was expecting.

It dosent take much light for it to grow. What kind of water flow do you have?

Also...what kind of nutrients do you have??? Nitrate = , phosphate = silicates = ....The lighting and food are what make it really pop... also it does take some time to kick in!!!

It could be growing more then I know... I was just expecting more of the explosion.. To me it hasnt changed in size mabee shrank a lilttle imo .. Ill run a battery of tests tomarrow to see what current levels are.. I have a mag 7 pushing water up 5-6 feet to the tank so prolly around 400gph or round bouts flow.. Ill take a picture tomarrow and post.
