new clowns!! strange goby

i just purchased 2 small clowns from my lfs. they are tank raised percs, and a little peculiar in their mrkings. 1st of all, is it normal for them to be not exactly perfect in markings when tank raised? or is it because they are babies? (about 1 inch small) also. they are in my qt tank. i have watched them at the lfs for almost 2 weeks and they seem to be v ery healthy. do i need to do the hyposalinity thing or just qt them for a week or 2??
they have already acclimated to the qt tank very nicely, gosh they are cute.
one other thing. my decorater goby ate my cleaner shrimp. swallowed him whole. anyone every hear of such a thing?? i mean , the shrimp was almost as big as the goby?? i thought they liked to house with shrimp?? hmmm i always have the "exception of the rule" fish it seems

Nice score on the clowns...I would just watch them for the next couple weeks and they should do fine...If they show disease or parasites then treat them...Are you sure that the goby ate the shrimp??? I don't see how that could happen?!?!?!?

sorry guys, it was within 5 minutes after i put the shrimp in there, and you know what. its gone. hes like my favorite fish, so he got away with it, anyone else may have made a trip back to the pet shop ha ha
i am t hinking the shrimp was weak, after the blue tang butchered him and picked on him, then i stuck him in the other tank, without acclimating (parameters on both tanks are about identical) and he was just sitting on the rock one minute, i left the room and came back to check him out, could not find him, then gomer (the goby) came to the front like he always does, only not begging for food, showing off his prize. i couldn't belive it either, but there it was in plain view, a bright red tail hangin inhis chops. lucky he didnt choke.
do hermit crabs shed their exo'S
they must
have 2 with large claws, and saw the claws and legs laying on the bottom and figured one musta died, then this mornin i found them both, and i know i only hve 2. weird, guess we aer always learning...

well that is cool. here a couple of times i saw a hermit on the bottom thinkin oh crap, another dead one, only to see it was still in the tank and thought, hmm thought i only had one peachy blue eyed crab. so they shed, duh, right. shoulda figured, i mean, they are crabs ha ha ha i can be so retarded sometimes
