When I started a tank back in the mid 90's, I was told over and over that bWorms were BAD. After reading several topics, the bristle worm seems to be benificial to a tank.
What is the current concensus of this creature now?

Bristle worms are great....Keep em they are work horses in keeping all the Detritus and dead things eaten up!!! They keep the sand bed stirred up and help in all those real needed beneficial clean up duties...

I would agree with that. I notice a ton in my tank cruising around at night. The only bad part is that some fish can get stung by them.

I've been told that they rock, leave behind dust from it and they can put a nasty sting on a human...but, if they help clean....shoooooot. Welcome home buddy!
