another lighting question

with the ongoing discussions of lighting, figured i'd chime in a question or two :)P

setup: 40gal, 36inches wide X 18inches deep... 1 65watt actinic buld 1 65watt 10,000k fluorescent bulb (24 inch bulbs b.t.w.)

critters: hermits, turbo snails, frogspawn, gonipora (flowerpot) and a medium sized brain

Am i under lit?

IMO, yes...you are underlit. I would say that the flowerpot, frogspawn, and brain should be under high wattage PCs or VHOs at a minimum. Ideally go with MH/PC combos.
