I now run my fuge lights at the same time as my main tank. I have been hearing alot about having them come on during the off tank time. Any ideas on the subject and also if I was to change the times how is the best way to do so. Do I have to slowly convert over or do I just convert all at once.
thanks for the advice in advance!

You are talking about macro...you can leave the lights on all the time if you want and it won't hurt anything...I run my fuge opposite of my main tank and I have found that my ph is more constant...Running the lights this way doesn't stop the ph drop at night but it reduces the amount of drop...Right now my fuge lights come on when my main tank lights go off and go off when my main tank lights come on....
I would switch to 24/7 or opposite the display. Switching over all at once will not hurt,,,

i currently run mine 24/7 but i have had them on a reverse schedule and that seemed to work fine, btw the reason i run mine 24/7 is the timer died and i just never replaced it

That is the same reason I run mine 24/7. I had mine on an reverse schedule and when my timer died I just put them on 24/7. Glad to see I am not the only one.
