Hmm, that does look like it's not doing so well. Xenia are very unpredictable corals. They seem to do well in some tanks, and in others they don't. If that one continues to degrade, just break off that part of the rock. The other xenia seems to be doing just fime.

I have bunches of xenia...every once in a while mine will do the same thing then come back and look fine...I would agree with SM that they are unpredictable and that they do well in some tanks...if it does not come back cut it off and leave the base close to the rock it should re-grow from the base...

the other guys are right, just give it a while. i once by accident blasted one of my xenia with a very strong powerhead and it curled up and looked dead, dicolours and the hands looks like they were going to drop off but in a week it had rebound and was pulsing away like crazy. my xenia are spreading like a plague from just two small bunches! patience is always good with xenia!

:)
My experience with Xenia is after they get established, and if they are under strong lighting, they are almost impossible to kill.
What lighting do you have?? Depending on the lighting you may want to move it up to get strong light and make sure they are in a medium flow.

ahh today is a new day and it looks great but there is this tear down the side and every time the xenia curl up and uncurl it grows. i think its just another way of spreading.
