I'm gonna try breed some bangaii's, my birthday is in 2 days, so I'm gonna ask for a tank then :) what size tank do you think I should use for only the 2 of em? I was thinking 25-33, any coments? (I already have a 29g that I can use, I would like to use that the most, that way I can get something else for my b-day :))

The minimum recommended size for Kaudern's cardinalfish is 30 gallons. You could get by with a pair in the 29, if you didn't let the water perameters slip at all. You wouldn't want to do that if you want the fry to survive, anyway.

I've decided to use a 55g :) I 'm gonna make it a bangai tank/refugium :)
Sounds great! Are you getting a pair or are you going to get several and allow 2 to pair up and get rid of the rest?

Wow...that ought to give you plenty of room... and I have the same question as Imaexpat2?

yeah, I think I'm gonna do that, the people at my lfs are really cool, they'll let me do that, and then give my store credit for what I paid for the others, I'm thinking of putting in around 5-6 to begin with, is that a good number? also, I heard that you can make them school if you have 10+ of em, I'd need a 75g for that around yeah?

Well I read in a fish breeding book the best odds of pairing up 2 fish is 8 in the tank. But in my opinion 6 should work fine
