skimmer bubbles

my skimmer is plowing alot of bubbles in my tank i tried everything and nothing works any ideas

More information on what kind of skimmer you have would help.

its a seaclone 100 it seems like its getting too much water and pulling the bubbles down insted of going to the top

Newer model right. I had an older one that did that and all I did was put a peice of filter material on the output with a rubberband but I am not sure about the newer ones.
