Would it be possible to cycle my QT to use for healing coral cuttings, or would the meds in the sealants kill them if they werent copper based?

Sorry, to be more clear, the meds i've used in the QT weren't copper based...

Can you tell us what meds were used? There are some that would not be a problem and than some that might. There are people here who do know and would be able to help with a list of meds used.
Good luck, I have always wanted to start a prop tank but never had the room.

The only meds i've ever used is called Nox-Ich. I read on the back, and it has a list of active ingredients. Nothing about copper. I also have fire clowns, and I didn't know this before, but copper is lethal to them, and I used it for them, and they survived...

It's just a little 10 gallon. Lol, not serious propogation like some of the other reefers out there.

I believe it should be fine. Just remember that water chemistry can go quick in a little tank. Watch your parameters.
