well I got my rock today around 10 AM. :-D
well I have got lots of rock from different dealers, and I have to say there Live base rock looks better then some of the premium rock I've bought from some.
it's got some coraline on it, spiny oysters, little clams, I seen some feather dusters, I found 3 or 4 crabs on the rock just adding it to my sump 2 mantis shrimps, there where yellow sponges, and lot's of other life........WOW this was "Base Rock"!!!!.
I got 40 Lbs to start off with, I'm still a little shy from where I want to be , but I have to say I'm very happy with the start I have. Very Nice rock.
I check my ammonia to after I got home from work and it's been in my tank now for about 10 hrs, and still not a trace of ammonia 8).
one more thing I would like to add, thanks Zack for the good deal. and thanks to www.liverocks.com.
okey one more thing I would like to add, I promise....lol. it was nice for once to get the size I asked for I asked for softball size rock and that's what I got, one smaller piece to even out the weight.
 Jim

i've ordered from them twice and been very happy both times, i know what you mean about getting the size you want, my second order was for lr for my 5.5g and i told them what i wanted it for and he picked me out apporpriate size pieces just as i requested. great looking rock and die off is very minimal so the cycle goes very fast

Ice, I have been watching you build your "prop" tank since you started posting it. I do believe that it is going to look better than my display. You are doing a great job and thank you for letting us follow along.

Newtofish, thanks I'm hoping my post can help others in idea's for there next or first set up.
Chic1 how is your rock for filtration? I have noticed with this rock it's not as porous as some I've gotten.? but besides that it looks great.

I'm not sure how it is for filtration but i have 40 lbs of the LR.com keys rock and another 20 lbs. of assorted other rock in my 29g so i think its okay my nitrates stay at zero but i'm also running a skimmer and fuge so it may be the combination of the 3
