cheato lighting??

In my short time with cheato it is seeming to me that it grows a lot better under stronger lighting. Has anyone else see this??

My 20g refuge (about 3/4 used as a refuge) I have a 65w LOA PC and a 9w PC and the cheato grows like a weed. In my 40g Tall refuge I have 2-30w NO fluorescents and a 65w 50/50 PC and it's not growing to well. With the depth of the 40g I'm seriously considering putting a 175w 6500k MH over it. Any thoughts?? The 40g doesn't have the nutrients the 20g does so I'm thinking it needs more light to grow at a rapid pace??

I've got a 13 wat 50/50 over my AC 300 fuge and have to prune the stuff twice a month because it grows so fast. 13 watts of light over a chamber that's only about 5"x4" is alot of light.

i have a 36w pc over my 10g fuge and run the lights 24/7 have very good growth

I have a 65 watt flood and mine grows great

What size of tank is it over Condiman??
