Snails in the Fuge?

I am setting up a Fug next Wednesday. I will have mud, some sand, a few pieces of base rock, and some macro.

In my main tank I have a bunch of naso snails. Should I add some to the fug? How many?

It is a HOB fug. 18 inches wide. It is on my 90 gallon tank.

I have about ten snails and about twenty hermits in my fuge. Does not seem to be any problem

OK, just want to make sure they don't mess with pods. I was asking how many by the way. Thanks and keep the feed back coming. I appreciate it a lot. I hope to make a big difference in my tank. I want to do it right.

They do not seem to bother the pods in my fuge. I can literally scoop the pods with my hand.
I do reach in there every once and a while and drop a bunch into my main tank.

generaly i wud say 1 snail (pending species) per 5 gallons in fuge (not tank gallon, THE FUGE)lol i find margaritta are good in my fuge but everyone has his/her own choice

Well I have naso in my main tank so that is what I would go with. Yes it is a CPR fuge. Think I picked out a good one? I sure hope it helps.

It is about 5 gallons worth so think I should just add a couple snails then? I have a few hermit crabs too. I could add them but would they mess with the macro?

well if its a small fuge then just add like 2 maybe 3 snails and 1 or 2 crabs, my fuge is 30 or so gallons (never got around to doing the math) i have 6 margaritta snails and 4 blue leg herms(Notice: blue leg hermits sometimes will kill the snail and take its shell, not all the time but sometimes, had 9 snails now there is 6 snails with 4 hermits and 3 have snail shells :-) )
but i would let the fuge get going for a week b4 stocking it all the way with snails and such , just add 1 snail, and 2 hermits then add snails every now and then to see how much algae is gonna need to be eaten!

btw kodos to u for the fuge if i had the money i would get a CPR or Aquatica Systems MSR (love the aquatica ones but theres not really difference!)
